Known as one of the largest sports bars in the Akihabara area, “STADIUM BAR Akiba League” is located just steps from JR Akihabara Station’s Showa-dori Exit. Designed around the concept of “unity,” its interior is set up to get you pumped up whether you come with friends or alone, offering an atmosphere renowned for its stadium-like immersion, offering the same thrill and atmosphere as a real stadium. Step inside and you’ll be greeted by fence-style walls reminiscent of a ballpark, and lighting fixtures decorated with baseball bats, filling the space with a sense of excitement and fun.
A sense of playfulness can even be seen in the seating arrangement, as the table seats are called “Infield Seats,” counter seats are labeled “S Seats,” and standing space is “General Admission.” In addition, there are special “Excite Seats” where you can feel the thrill of the game up-close, as well as a “Royal Box” where you can relax in VIP style. Inside the bar, in addition to Japanese professional baseball and Major League Baseball, soccer, Formula 1 and a wide range of other sports are shown. With numerous monitors and a giant screen, guests can enjoy the powerful experience of live sports viewing.
The most distinctive feature of STADIUM BAR Akiba League is that, just like in a real stadium, beer girls carrying kegs on their backs serve draft beer right at your table. Their lively smiles and freshly poured beer add to the excitement of the viewing experience.
The drink menu also includes a wide variety of options such as sours and cocktails. Particularly popular among visitors from overseas is Japanese whisky. Famous labels like Hibiki, Hakushu, and Yamazaki are available in abundance, ready to be enjoyed straight, on the rocks, or with water, whichever style you prefer.
The food menu is also filled with items that are essential for watching sports. Among the highlights are the handmade hot dogs, with creative original toppings such as the “potato & cheese dog,” topped with melted cheese over potatoes, and the addictive “egg & tartar dog,” combining egg with rich tartar sauce.
You can also enjoy classic Japanese street foods and snacks like takoyaki (grilled octopus balls), boiled peanuts, and grilled stingray fin, as well as hearty dishes such as yakisoba, pasta, and curry rice, so there’s plenty to satisfy your appetite while you enjoy the game.
One of the main draws of STADIUM BAR Akiba League is that it offers not only the chance to enjoy watching sports, but also activities where you can participate yourself. Order a bottle of champagne and take on the “Home Run Game” using the cork. From the batter’s box, you pop the champagne toward the target board, and if the cork hits the mark, the entire bar switches to special lighting while stadium-style announcements echo through the venue, sending the excitement soaring.
As part of the celebration, visitors can receive original goods such as custom coasters, and even leave their name and a message inside the bar. You can liven things up with friends, enjoy a drink while watching the broadcast alone, or connect with others who happen to be there. At STADIUM BAR Akiba League, you’ll experience both the exhilaration unique to a stadium and the comfort of a bar, offering a whole new way to enjoy watching sports.
